Job summary

The City of Coral Springs is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support Mullins Park and related facilities. The role focuses on organization, sanitation, and general maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with potential evenings, weekends, and holidays for special events, and duties include setup/breakdown, pool and gym area maintenance, furniture handling, and minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• General and preventative maintenance in assigned area.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of supplies.
• Sets up and breaks down for work areas, break rooms, classrooms.
• Maintains pool and pump/motor areas, 7500 sq. ft. Fitness Center and assists in repair work.
• Relocates and organizes furniture, fixtures, and equipment for department functions.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment and provides for general upkeep.
• Performs cleaning tasks and preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Uses cleaning agents per label instructions and safety directions.
• Operates custodial and maintenance equipment.
• Performs routine minor facilities improvement tasks, e.g., painting, minor repairs.

• Utilizes various custodial and general maintenance equipment.
• Performs routine minor facilities improvement tasks, e.g., painting, minor repairs.
