Job summary

City of Coral Springs is seeking a part-time Park Maintenance Worker to support sanitation and general maintenance across parks. Under supervision, you will inspect facilities, mow fields, clean restrooms, paint, and assist with landscape tasks.

Shifts run Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 PM to close, with schedule adjustments for events. You must have a high school diploma, basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment, and a valid Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and grounds keeping.
• Possession of a valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspects park facilities for safety issues.
• Sprays for weeds and other plant material.
• Mows athletic fields.
• Paints athletic fields.
• Turns on/off field lights for permits and events.
• Brings equipment out for repairs and maintenance.
• Drags and lines ball fields.
• Cleans restrooms and pressure cleans park amenities.
• Drag and line ballfields, pickup landscape debris.
• Opens/closes park gates and restrooms.
• Completes daily and weekly logs and inspections.
