The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is seeking a Maintenance/Construction Supervisor I to oversee maintenance and repairs of park facilities,Buildings, and equipment. This role involves inspecting facilities for safety, coordinating housekeeping, grounds, and vehicle maintenance, and handling water/wastewater facility operations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on trades experience (carpentry/plumbing/electrical/auto) and ability to read blueprints and estimate

Qualificações

Trades experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or auto mechanics.
Knowledge and experience with building codes and regulations governing repair and construction of facilities and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/structural specifications and estimate materials.

Responsabilidades

Develops and implements outside bid packages and reviews plan sheets from designers and contractors.
Monitors and inspects contractor construction and renovation projects.
Acts as liaison to local officials and regulatory agencies and supports facility management.
Supervises and evaluates work of staff and volunteers on special projects.
Provides record-keeping support and prepares basic operational forms.
Oversees hands-on maintenance, repairs and automotive work for facilities and equipment.
