Job summary

RiseMe seeks a Parks & Recreation Project Manager I to lead park design initiatives in Atlanta, reporting to the Director of Park Planning and Design. You will manage projects from concept to completion, coordinating internal staff and external consultants within the program management plan.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in a related field and 3–5 years of design and construction experience, including budget and schedule development, with strong AutoCAD and design skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Civil/Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in design and construction on small to medium-scale programs.
• License: Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
• Five years PM experience and two years supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from conception to completion with internal staff and external consultants.
• Establish budgets, develop schedules, and monitor adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate technical design and engineering work to ensure compliance with planning concepts.
• Develop RFQs and RFPs.
• Conduct research on real estate acquisition, zoning codes, and construction materials.
• Perform inventory and analysis of planning and design documents and facilities.
• Engage with community members, city colleagues, and partners on capital projects.
• Attend mandatory meetings and relay critical developments and actions items.
• Maintain graphic standards of the department and knowledge of planning practices.
