Park Assistant Manager

As a Park Assistant Manager, you oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors. Responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing procedures, maintaining service standards, and acting as the main contact for guests.
Responsibilities
- Attend to guests quickly, greet them and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervise employees to ensure they perform duties satisfactorily and reach production goals.
- Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment among staff.
- Audit schedules and obtain approval from the Park Manager as needed.
- Open and close the park using keys or a code.
- Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
- Run the check‑in process, having guests sign liability waivers and provide contact information via an iPad.
- Operate the front cash counter, processing cash and card payments, providing exact change, and recording transactions.
- Process billing transactions accurately on the POS.
- Organize food storage (drinks, snacks, chips, ice cream) and maintain inventory, ordering as needed from vendors.
- Walk the floor to monitor safety hazards and ensure guests follow park rules.
- Clean restrooms, sanitize structures, tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate family events and ensure efficient operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, bend, twist constantly.
- Perform frequent bilateral hand movements.
- Require good finger dexterity.
- Work in noisy environments caused by children and music.
- Tolerate hectic, busy conditions during peak hours.
- Operate in tight spaces and be comfortable with heights.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with children.
- Operate an iPad.
