Overview

Park Assistant Manager at Kids Empire

OBJECTIVE: As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Manager are the contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Must interact with families and children of all ages.

Essential Job Functions
  • Attending to guests as quickly as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
  • Supervises employees to ensure they perform their job duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
  • Assist the Park Manager with training, developing, and auditing.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
  • Audit schedules and request needed approval from the Park Manager.
  • Open and close the park using keys or a code.
  • Communicate any guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
  • Operate the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and collect guest information (address, name, email, phone) using an iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter for receiving payments, managing cash flow, and providing exact change if needed; accept cash or card payments (credit/debit).
  • Verify billing transactions with the POS.
  • Organize the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream; check snack inventory and reorder from specified vendors as needed.
  • Walk the floor regularly to monitor safety and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures including tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to operate efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
  • Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
  • Work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
  • Adapt to a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
  • Work in a structured environment and be comfortable with heights.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Work weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work with children.
  • Operate an iPad.
  • Good communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership and strong organizational skills.
