Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, nonprofit/parish preferred.
• Proficiency with ParishSOFT and Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parish bookkeeping and accounting systems per diocesan policy.
• Process accounts payable/receivable, deposits, and check preparation.
• Prepare payroll and maintain confidential records.
• Complete monthly reconciliations and produce financial reports.
• Assist with annual parish budget and audits.
• Use ParishSOFT for reporting and records management.
• Communicate with Pastor, staff, vendors; uphold diocesan policies.
