Job summary

Our Lady of Prompt Succor Parish, Chackbay, LA is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness of parish facilities. The role reports to the Director of Business Operations and requires about 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities include routine weekly cleaning, annual deep cleaning, waste disposal, supplies inventory, and helping with parish events as needed. Must read/write/speak English and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• General facilities upkeep knowledge.
• Safe Environment training is required.
• Must have a driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive situations, documents, and records.
• Basic familiarity with Catholic Church values.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of parish buildings weekly.
• Performs annual deep cleaning of parish buildings.
• Collects and disposes of garbage around the parish.
• Keeps inventory of cleaning and janitorial supplies.
• Assists with setup and cleanup of parish events.
