Job summary

Our Lady of Prompt Succor Parish, Chackbay, LA is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness of parish facilities. The role reports to the Director of Business Operations and requires about 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities include routine weekly cleaning, annual deep cleaning, waste disposal, supplies inventory, and helping with parish events as needed. Must read/write/speak English and have a valid driver's license.

Housekeeping Associate

The Housekeeping Associate is a part-time, non-exempt position that will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the parish facilities for Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church-Chackbay.

The Housekeeping Associate reports to the Director of Business Operations and will be expected to work approximately 10 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Performs routine cleaning of each parish building weekly.
• Performs annual deep cleaning of each parish building.
• Collects and disposes of garbage around the parish.
• Keeps inventory of all cleaning and janitorial supplies in each building.
• Assists with the setup and clean up of parish events, as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

General facilities upkeep, housekeeping, and cleaning practices knowledge

Other Skills and Requirements:

• Must be able to successfully complete Safe Environment training.
