Job summary

Our Lady of Prompt Succor Parish in Chackbay, LA is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness across parish facilities. The role is non-exempt and expected to work about 10 hours per week.

The position reports to the Director of Business Operations and involves routine weekly cleaning, annual deep cleaning, waste disposal, supply inventory, and assisting with event set-up and clean-up as needed. Training availability and a focus on professional conduct are emphasized.

Qualifications

• General facilities upkeep, housekeeping, and cleaning practices knowledge.
• Must complete Safe Environment training.
• Must have a driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Able to communicate clearly by phone, email, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of each parish building weekly.
• Performs annual deep cleaning of each parish building.
• Collects and disposes of garbage around the parish.
• Keeps inventory of all cleaning and janitorial supplies in each building.
• Assists with the setup and cleanup of parish events, as needed.
