Job summary

St. Pius X parish in Omaha is seeking a full-time Pastoral Associate for an 11-month term, reporting to the Pastor. The role includes administrative, evangelization and pastoral duties, with responsibilities across parish groups and committees to support mission-driven activities.

You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and parishioners to foster welcoming ministry, develop leadership capacity, and enhance community outreach throughout the year.

• Ability to build and foster strong relationships with staff, volunteers and parishioners.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Experience leading teams and/or projects.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Pastor, shares in administrative, evangelization and pastoral ministry duties.
• Serve as a member of the parish staff, providing leadership, consultation and resourcing to various groups and committees.
• Support and coordinate parish processes and initiatives across ministries.
