Saint Michael Parish in Olympia, WA is seeking a Pastoral Associate for Parish Life to serve as a senior staff leader supporting the pastor in advancing the parish mission. You will guide mission, vision, hospitality, communications, outreach, evangelization, discipleship, stewardship, and events to foster a vibrant Catholic community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry, nonprofit leadership, business administration, communications, organizational leadership, human resources, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in parish ministry, nonprofit leadership, stewardship, communications, personnel administration, or organizational management.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers and handling sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead parish life initiatives, with focus on mission, vision, and values.
• Collaborate with pastor and leadership on strategy, staffing, and ministry development.
• Oversee parish engagement, hospitality, communications, outreach, evangelization, and events.
• Supervise parish personnel administration and volunteer development.
• Direct daily Office for Parish Life operations and ensure coordinated parish activities.
