Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a proactive outreach and development professional to plan, implement, and oversee parish engagement initiatives across 19 counties. You will collaborate with Mission Advancement leadership to promote programs, events, and volunteer opportunities within parishes and interfaith groups.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mission driven outreach.
• Minimum of 2 years of faith-based experience.
• Experience working alongside clergy in serving the community.
• Experience in deadline-driven environments.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver license and insurance; clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a comprehensive community marketing, communications, and public relations strategy to promote programs, events, and volunteerism to parishes and their staff.
• Attend Deanery meetings, Archdiocesan events, Presbyterial Council, and other needs to foster parish relations with CCAOSA agencies and programs.
• Promote Catholic Charities programs, services, events, and campaigns throughout the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
• Build parish relations by connecting with priests and staff and coordinating with program directors.
• Connect parish leadership to Catholic Charities programs based on parish needs.
• Prioritize parish support in daily workflows to build trust and reliability of mission delivery.
• Create, execute, and measure parish/community outreach efforts.
• Meet regularly with parish pastors, staff, ministries, and commissions to understand parish ministries and needs.
• Participate in strategic planning for rural parish outreach and engagement initiatives.
• Keep parishes informed of resources available to parishioners through Catholic Charities.
• Provide mass and faith-based support to priests and celebrate blessings on behalf of Catholic Charities.
• Work with clergy to provide spiritual support or service opportunities to programs and crisis response.
• Connect program staff with local parishes across the Archdiocese’s counties.
• Present Catholic Charities programs at parish events and meetings to promote participation.
• Apply for annual placement and management of Jesuit Volunteers, Seminarians, and Deacons.
• Facilitate spiritual guidance for staff and clients when requested.
• Create Parish Outreach events around Catholic Social Teaching themes.
• Complete quarterly reports for the Chief Development Officer and other leadership.
• Adhere to required professional development and organizational safety protocols.
• Support confidentiality and ethics as a core practice.
• Other duties as assigned by Chief Development Officer.
