Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio Careers seeks a community outreach leader to manage parish engagement, development, and program promotion across the Archdiocese. This role partners with clergy and lay staff to support parish-based outreach and fundraising efforts.

The position focuses on creating engagement opportunities, coordinating with interfaith partners, and advancing Catholic Charities programs and services within 19 counties of the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mission-driven outreach.
• Minimum of 2 years of faith-based experience.
• Experience working alongside clergy in serving the community.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a parish outreach and public relations strategy for parishes and programs.
• Attend Deanery meetings and Archdiocesan events to foster parish relations.
• Promote Catholic Charities programs and campaigns across the Archdiocese.
• Build relationships with priests and parish staff to connect leadership to services.
• Present programs at parish events and meetings to boost participation.
• Support the agency’s strategic plan for rural parish outreach and evolving needs.
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff and clients when requested.
