Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a part-time custodian to provide cleaning services for parish and office facilities. Primary duties include restroom cleaning, floor care, surface dusting, and maintaining cleanliness across public areas and kitchens.

Tasks occur on a schedule set by the Facilities Manager and may include periodic deep cleaning. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and handle repetitive motions associated with custodial work.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform custodial tasks including cleaning restrooms, mopping, vacuuming and general housekeeping.
• Good attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks.
• Ability to lift and move supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, sweeps and mops floors, vacuums, dusts surfaces.
• Cleans kitchen area, sinks, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.
• Empties trash, cleans entryways and windows in Parish Office and Church.
• Dusts furniture, cleans bathrooms and windowsills in public areas.
• Maintains cleaning supplies and equipment, stores after use.
• Performs monthly, semiannual or annual janitorial duties as scheduled by Facilities Manager.
