Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth will help maintain and repair church facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure safety and function for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks, preventive maintenance, coordination with vendors, and keeping detailed logs. On-call duties and weekend work are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ building maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid State driver’s license and auto insurance per diocesan requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical fixtures and appliances, valves, and basic plumbing.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of grounds and building interiors.
• Move and transport furniture and materials; assist with renovations as needed.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports; read blueprints when required.
