Job summary

Friend Health is seeking a Parent Educator to deliver structured parenting education and individualized coaching for pregnant and parenting women in the PWDC program. You will strengthen parenting skills, improve parent-child relationships, and promote healthy child development.

Responsibilities include facilitating sessions, coaching families, educating on development, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive services and family well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with families, children, or parenting education programs.
• Experience with pregnant women, parents of young children, or vulnerable populations preferred.
• Knowledge of child development, parenting strategies, and family support practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured parenting education sessions for program participants.
• Provide individualized parenting coaching to support positive parent–child relationships.
• Educate parents about developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities.
• Coordinate with clinicians, case managers, home visitors, and peer recovery specialists to support families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of education sessions and participant interactions.
