Job summary

Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy seeks a Parenting Educator to develop and implement curriculum, coordinate program activities, and monitor participant progress within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes delivering effective parenting education to families and maintaining confidential records.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; experience in child welfare is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; degree in education or social services preferred.
• Ability to teach groups of parents and/or surrogate parents.
• Experience or knowledge of child welfare concepts is preferred.
• Excellent academic record, stable work history, strong references.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curricular content for the Parenting Education Program.
• Coordinate, manage, monitor, and evaluate program participants and classroom environments.
• Maintain accurate records of intake, goals, service terminations, and progress.
• Respond to crises and participate in Utilization Review processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive matters.
