Responsibilities

• Increase parent involvement by coordinating with school, parent, and community organizations
• Facilitate parent and school community concerns and events
• Engage parents through outreach and information sessions
• Convene regular parent meetings and school events
• Assist in establishing by-laws and elections for parent associations
• Act as liaison to central and field-based parent support staff
• Maintain contact with community organizations providing school services
• Organize back-to-school and other events to welcome parents and community
