This role supports events, parent education nights, volunteering coordination, and information sharing to strengthen the home-school partnership.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff, maintaining organized records, and engaging families through evenings and on-site activities that promote student achievement.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and correspondence.
• Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance card.
• Proficient with basic software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and district personnel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and record-keeping abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings as needed.
• Demonstrated group leadership skills.
• Must pass a background check upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between school personnel, parents/guardians, and the community.
• Collaborate with site teachers and staff to provide parent education and events, parent meetings, etc.
• Create, coordinate, and facilitate parent meetings.
• Foster an awareness of our school community and/or visitors.
• Connect parents to leadership and volunteer opportunities.
• Compile information for the school website regarding parent involvement and
• Maintain parent information areas (boards, marquee, front office, and online ect.) at the school site with resources and activities affecting parental involvement.
• Use data to provide programs and activities to address the needs of parents and the school.
• Confidentially maintain a variety of records, which may include: parent information, attendance records, data logs, and other parent program information.
• Prepare reports to submit to Administration, which may include program hours, parent information, programs/events
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the parent program.
