The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Paraprofessional/Parent Liaison to support 21st Century Community Learning Center programs, recruit parents, and help with attendance and communications. Qualifications

Paraprofessional certificate and a high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Associate Degree in education preferred.
2 years’ experience in Title 1 schools or as a Parent Liaison preferred.
Ability to obtain working knowledge of 21st CCLC requirements.
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and database systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily program tasks related to the position's scope and responsibility.
Support recruitment and attendance along with parent activities.
Maintain branch and association certifications and training requirements.
Assist with timely collection and submittal of information for 21st CCLC.
Ensure safety protocols and wellness checks for members and staff.
Assist with delivery of age- and grade-appropriate lessons.
Collaborate with parents and school staff to share timely information.
