Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a 21st CCLC Site Coordinator to oversee an after-school program, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state requirements. The role includes delivering academic instruction, tutoring, and STEAM activities at a designated school site.

You will collaborate with teachers and parents, develop age-appropriate lessons, track progress, and maintain certifications. Strong communication and organization are essential, with CPR within 30 days and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Georgia Teaching Certificate
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 2+ years experience in Title 1 schools preferred
• 2+ years experience in extended day programming
• Must obtain required certifications for the position
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and data management
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Flexible, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Pass background and drug screening; valid transport
• CPR within 30 days of employment and maintain

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily program tasks related to the position’s scope.
• Stay updated on 21st CCLC programming issues.
• Promote and ensure smooth 21st CCLC site operations.
• Collect and submit required data/reports.
• Maintain certifications and training per Metro Atlanta YMCA standards.
• Assist in all aspects of YMCA and school community.
• Lead academic sessions and assist with lesson delivery.
• Develop tools to document academic progress.
