Job summary

Oregon State University is hiring for 8 part-time positions in Materials Management (Campus Surplus, Recycling and Mail). Shifts are 8–24 hours per week, with early morning hours on campus in Corvallis. You will assist with parcel delivery, campus moves, and support recycling and surplus operations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students with strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn to drive campus vehicles. Preference for those meeting academic standing and enrollment requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
• Graduate international students and other enrollment statuses have specific term requirements.
• Willingness to work as a team member and learn to drive campus vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery and movement of parcels and mail to campus departments.
• Participate in a larger team supporting Recycling and Surplus on campus.
• Provide excellent customer service to the public, departments, and agencies on campus.
• Assist with recycling or surplus pickups and personnel moves.
• Clean and prepare recycling bins and carts.
• Operate university-owned vehicles to transport materials; training provided.
