Job summary

OHSU is seeking a Receiving Clerk (Property Specialist) to manage inbound shipments and warehouse data entry across campuses. You will unload trucks, receive items into Oracle and SQBX, and deliver packages using carts and electric carts on a daily basis.

The role requires familiarity with inventory control, attention to detail, and ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment. A valid driver's license and reliable customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry level experience in stores and inventory work.
• Experience with inventory control systems and shipping methods (Amazon Purchasing).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a wide array of warehouse equipment including forklifts, handtrucks, pallet jacks, dolleys, and electric carts.
• Ability to learn and retain customer names and delivery locations.
• Typing at least 30 wpm and experience with 10 key.
• Ability to think independently and direct carriers to correct delivery locations.

Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming shipments and coordinating with couriers daily.
• Receiving shipments into the Oracle system for timely invoicing.
• Entering packages into the SQBX system and maintaining the database.
• Sorting shipments for campus delivery to buildings, floors, units and departments.
• Delivering shipments to rooms around the OHSU campus using carts and electric carts.
• Sorting and delivering mail to central mail room or department mail boxes.
• Freight management including inspecting goods and processing related paperwork.
• Miscellaneous outbound shipping and light duties as assigned.
