Job summary

OSU Materials Management (Campus Surplus, Recycling and Mail) is seeking energetic students to assist with the transportation and delivery of parcels and mail across campus. 8 part-time positions available, up to 24 hours per week, with shifts largely in the early hours.

Responsibilities include delivering packages, supporting recycling and surplus operations, and providing excellent customer service to faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard

Responsibilities

• Delivery and movement of parcels and mail to campus departments
• Be part of a larger team supporting Recycling and Surplus on campus
• Provide excellent customer service to the public, departments, and visiting agencies
• Assist with recycling or surplus pickups or personnel moves
• Clean and prepare recycling bins and carts
• Operate university-owned vehicles; training provided
