Oregon State University is hiring for 8 part-time positions in Materials Management (Campus Surplus, Recycling and Mail). Shifts are 8–24 hours per week, with early morning hours on campus in Corvallis. You will assist with parcel delivery, campus moves, and support recycling and surplus operations.
Ideal candidates are enrolled students with strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn to drive campus vehicles. Preference for those meeting academic standing and enrollment requirements.
Materials Management (Campus Surplus, Recycling and Mail)
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years.
This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq. A valid driver’s license and clean a clean driving record.
OSU will conduct a review of the National Sex Offender Public website prior to hire. Note: All job offers are contingent upon Human Resources final approval.
