Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is hiring a Collection & Delivery Driver at our Newcastle depot. You will sort parcels, plan routes and carry out vehicle safety checks while delivering to homes and businesses with a customer-focused approach.

Job Ref: 341726 Contract: Permanent Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday, Wednesday to Saturday 09:30 - 17:00. Location: Newcastle PFW Depot, Drum Industrial Estate Chester Lee Street Newcastle DH2 1AE

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour


• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour


• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)


• Paid weekday and weekend overtime

What you’ll be doing:

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes


• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks


• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses


• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for:

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points


• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg


• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused


• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player


• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
