Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL license with passenger endorsement or class B with passenger endorsement permit, with a clean driving record.
• Previous transportation or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a paratransit vehicle and assist passengers with mobility challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate paratransit vehicles safely and courteously.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting for safety and comfort.
• Follow routes and timetables, obey traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate passenger trip records (pickup/drop-off times).
• Communicate with dispatchers and passengers, delivering good service.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
