Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Utility Driver to provide safe transportation for participants and materials across multiple sites. You will be responsible for assisting passengers, following routes, and supporting dispatch operations.

The role requires a CDL and CPR AED certification within 90 days, along with a clean driving record and the ability to handle flexible daily schedules. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to community health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL and enrollment in DMV pull program before start date.
• Current American Heart Association CPR AED certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Drive PACE paratransit vehicles safely between participants’ homes, PACE Center and community locations.
• Aids and secures participants in vehicles per PACE standards.
• Follow daily schedules for transporting patients or materials using mapping and routing platforms.
• Operate Supply Chain Services box trucks to deliver materials and equipment to sites we serve.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, fueled vehicles.
