Job summary

Universal Health Services’ San Marcos Treatment Center seeks a Driver to transport patients to and from pre-scheduled appointments, providing observation and role modeling to maintain safety. The role requires maintaining a clean environment and coordinating with staff to ensure patient care needs are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of transportation experience preferred; priority to applicants with patient transport.
• Valid license/certification for transportation of patients.
• CPR and Handle with Care certifications; may be obtained during orientation.
• Must be 21+ years old with a clean driving record.
• Must live within 30 minutes of 120 Bert Brown Rd, San Marcos, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
• Communicate with the Department Director and staff regarding patient care issues.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
