Applitrack seeks a Paraprofessional (Teachers' Aide) to support full-time instructional staff and reinforce classroom lessons with students. You will coordinate with Student Services, administrators, and other staff to ensure effective learning experiences.
You will assist with assessments, manage instructional materials, and help supervise students during transitions and meals. A high school diploma and PARA licensure within the first year are required; an associate degree is preferred.

JOB FUNCTION The Paraprofessional will assist full-time teachers, reinforcing materials and lessons covered in the classroom to facilitate student learning. This position coordinates with the Student Services Director, School Administrators, Teachers, and Interventionists, along with other school support staff, students, parents, and the community.TERM Shall work all days of student attendance that require paraprofessional services as determined by the Board of Education and occasional days of non-student attendance as job duties demand, including but not limited to Teacher Institute Days and School Improvement Days.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list is not all-inclusive and is only intended to illustrate the various responsibilities and duties performed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma; holding or obtaining Paraprofessional Educator Licence (PARA) within the first year of employment; and completion of paraprofessional training through the District within the first year of employment are required. Associates degree and three years of previous experience in a related role is highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to navigate all areas of the school quickly including indoor and outdoor areas. Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout school and classroom. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time. Must be able to assist students who have physical difficulties. Must be able to kneel, sit, stand, crawl, push, and pull to assist and teach children throughout the day. Prolonged periods sitting and working on the computer to complete necessary paperwork.
