Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a paraprofessional and behavior interventionist to support students with special needs in Fremont, CA. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, building trust and providing a nurturing learning environment under the guidance of lead educators.

Candidates should have college credits or degrees (CBEST welcomed) and be prepared for state and federal background checks. The role is non-exempt with hourly pay and opportunities for professional development.

What you'll do:

• Some roles include assisting various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

You'll stand out if you have:

• Worked with children who have Special Education needs
• Spent time in Special Education settings
• Any Special Education specific training
• ABA experience (Applied Behavior Analysis)
• Experience working in K-12 schools
• Experience with assisting in various mod to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
