Job summary

• Support teacher with preparation of instructional materials.
• Collaborate on school-based supervision of arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, bus duty, and/or classrooms.
• Cover general office duties as needed.
• Provide assistance to the principal and staff in the daily management of the school.
• Substitute at all grade levels as requested.
• Assume other duties/responsibilities as designated by the Principal, Teacher, and/or Designee.

Job Description

North Reading Middle School is seeking fulltime Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students throughout the school day starting in the 2026-2027 school year. This position is five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday) and 35.0 hours per week.

Essential Duties

• Provide physical assistance to students with disabilities as required
• Facilitate establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior
