Job Description

The L.D. Batchelder Elementary Schoolis seeking fulltime Special Education Paraprofessionals to support studentsthroughout the school day starting in the 2026-2027 school year. North Reading Public Schoolsis actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

This position is five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday) and 35.0 hours per week.

Essential Duties
  • Assist and support professional staff in implementing the Individualized Education Program for students and other special education programming
  • Supportin the implementation of curriculum modifications for specified students
  • Provide physical assistance to students with disabilities as required
