North Reading High School is seeking full‑time Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students throughout the school day beginning in the 2026‑2027 school year.

This position requires five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday) and 35.0 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support professional staff in implementing the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and other special education programming.
• Support implementation of curriculum modifications for specified students.
• Provide physical assistance to students with disabilities as required.
• Facilitate the establishment and maintenance of student behavior standards.
• Support teachers with preparation of instructional materials.
• Collaborate on school‑based supervision for arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, bus duty, and/or classrooms.
• Cover general office duties as needed, including assistance to the principal and staff with daily school management.
• Substitute at all grade levels as requested.
• Assume other duties/responsibilities as designated by the Principal, Teacher, and/or Designee.
