Assist teachers, counselors and administrators in providing educational services to students with special needs. Work will involve assisting students with remedial, enrichment and/or independent living activities as well as supporting instructional and educational goals.
Minimum of 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, 195 days/year
Middle School Parapro Day 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Elementary School Parapro Day: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday
2 years of college coursework OR a Associate's Degree or higher OR high school diploma with the passage of the ParaPro Assessment prior to employment One year of related successful work experience Strong interpersonal skills Experience in operating basic office equipment, such as copiers Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job. An active Educational Aide Permit(1-Year or 4-Year) or a teaching licenseissued by the Ohio Department of Education

$17.47/hour (non-degreed); $19.74/hour (2-year degree); $21.50 (Teaching Certificate)
