Job summary

Wells Academy is seeking a paraprofessional to provide supplemental instructional support to eligible students under Title I. You will implement interventions, monitor progress, and report outcomes to classroom teachers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Title I and General Education teachers, attendance at conferences when needed, and maintaining student records in compliance with laws and district policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an accredited institution (60 semester hours)
• Associate degree or higher
• Understanding of approved state assessments (MTTC, Readiness Exam, ETS Parapro)

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions to students per the instructional plan
• Report outcomes to teachers with daily progress notes
• Administer assessments and screeners to support eligibility decisions
• Attend parent/teacher conferences as needed to discuss student performance
• Maintain student files and confidentiality
• Keep activity logs and time documentation per regulations
• Communicate with teachers about progress and concerns
• May participate in RTI, data, PBS, or school improvement teams
• Support in upholding behavior and safety in the classroom
• Perform other duties as assigned
