Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support students with ASD across multiple campuses. You will assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, provide one-on-one and small-group instruction, and help manage behavior to foster a positive classroom environment.

The role includes supervision during meals and recess, data collection for behavior plans, and collaboration with staff to support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ASD/behavior challenges preferred.
• IEP/BIPCPI trained (current) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with planning and implementing classroom activities and lessons.
• Provide individual and small group instruction to students in academic and social-emotional areas.
• Supervise students during lunch, break, and recess times.
• Assist with student behavior management and conflict resolution.
• Collect behavior data and support implementing behavior plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with daily living activities (e.g., toileting).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
