Job summary
Utah Tech University invites applications for a full-time professional-track Instructor of the Practice or tenure-track Assistant Professor of Paramedicine, beginning Spring Semester 2027. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an educational or healthcare field required for professional-track.
- Master’s degree in an educational or healthcare field required for tenure-track.
Responsibilities
- Provide Paramedic course instruction and clinical supervision.
- Assist in curriculum development for the paramedic program, including course design and materials.
- Ensure program meets regulatory and CoAEMSP accreditation requirements.
- Recruit and train program faculty and staff to deliver the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback and remediation as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and institutions to keep current in EMS practices.
- Participate in accreditation site visits and implement required changes.
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality.
- Support outreach and relationship-building with employers and the community.
