Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a part-time Respiratory Transport Services coordinator to oversee daily transport activities, dispatch requests, and track status across systems. You will work closely with the transport team, operating radios and computers, to maintain smooth operations and high satisfaction for patients and staff.

The role requires Paramedic Certification in Ohio, CPR/BLS, and a valid Ohio driver’s license, with PALS/ACLS/EVOC timing per hire.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Paramedic Certification in Ohio required.
• CPR/BLS required.
• PALS/ACLS/EVOC preferred within specified timelines.
• Ohio driver’s license, minimum 21 years old, eligibility for hospital insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor transport services daily with timely dispatch.
• Dispatch and manage customer transportation requests and update status.
• Maintain contact with transport team and document current location.
• Operate radio consoles, telephones, and computer systems.
• Ensure patient, customer and transporter satisfaction and program quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
• Assist other hospital departments with communications of critical services.
