Qualifications

• Must possess California State Paramedic License.
• Currently certified in CPR/BCLS by the AHA or equivalent.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS & PHTLS preferred (education for un-certified by 10/1/2025).
• Pediatric Life Support required.
• Incident Command System Training: 100, 200, 700.
• Bariatric Training.
• Mass Casualty Training and Trauma Triage Training: ICEMA & MCI Plan & ReadyNet Awareness.
• Demonstrated high quality patient care and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lead and participate effectively within a team.
• Professional interactions with patients, public, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide stand by emergency medical care and transportation at special event venues.
• Respond to emergency scenes to provide medical care and transportation.
• Respond to hospitals and other locations for nonemergency care and transport.
• Provide care and monitoring at scene, en route, and at facilities.
• Adhere to local medical protocol and state law, and company guidelines.
• Deliver patients to appropriate medical facilities.
• Complete and sign all documentation for each response and transport.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and sanitation; assist with base/station checks.
• Act as team leader when required and supervise other EMS personnel.
• Engage in public relations and community education initiatives.
