Qualifications

• California State EMT License.
• Currently CPR certification by the AHA or similar organization.
• Bariatric Training.
• Mass Casualty Training.
• Trauma Triage Training: ICEMA & MCI Plan.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies and non-emergencies with appropriate care and caution under state law and EMS regulations.
• Ensures ambulance readiness and completes daily checks of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintains security and privacy of patient information per HIPAA and related laws.
• Documents all responses and transports accurately and timely.
