Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergencies and provide medical care and transportation at events and facilities in Alabama. You will operate under local EMS protocols, ensure ambulance readiness, and maintain patient care from scene to hospital.

Candidates must hold current CPR and state EMS licenses, ACLS/PALS as required, and a clean driving record. You will lead teams when needed, protect patient privacy, document responses, and engage in community

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified by the appropriate state agencies.
• CPR certification by AHA or equivalent.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification as required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and public.
• Team leadership when needed.
• Uphold HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and provide medical care and transportation.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness; perform daily checks.
• Complete and sign documentation for every response and transport.
• Coordinate with dispatch, medical control and other agencies.
• Reflect professionalism and patient safety at all times.
• Engage in public relations and community education activities.
