CONFIRE EMS is seeking EMT/Paramedic professionals to provide standby emergency care at events, respond to emergencies, and transport patients. You will deliver medical care per local protocols, ensure ambulance readiness, and document all activities.

This role requires licensing, ongoing certification, and ability to lead a EMS team when needed. The position is hourly, non-exempt, with travel within the service area and adherence to safety standards and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• California State Paramedic License is required.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• PALS and PHTLS are preferred.
• Pediatric Life Support certification is desirable.
• ICS 100/200/700 training is beneficial.
• Mass Casualty and Trauma Triage training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide standby emergency medical care at events.
• Respond to emergencies and transport patients per protocol.
• Respond to hospitals and other locations for non-emergency care.
• Deliver medical care and monitoring en route and at scene.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and cleanliness, restock equipment.
• Complete documentation for every response and transport.
• Act as team leader and supervise EMS staff when needed.
