Essentia Health seeks an Emergency Services Tech to respond to emergent and non-emergent calls, delivering pre-hospital and hospital care. The role supports ongoing patient assessment and treatment within state-authorized scopes of care, including BLS and ALS procedures.

Responsibilities include driving under established requirements, maintaining certifications, and coordinating with hospital staff to ensure patient safety across shifts at ADA EMS facilities.

Qualifications

• State licensure/certification as a Paramedic in the appropriate state of practice
• All Markets staff must be dual licensed MN/WI
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required or obtained within specified timelines
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
• Meets driving criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls and provides medical support
• Assesses patients to determine the best course of treatment
• Provides advanced medical care and BLS/ALS using appropriate equipment
• Operates within the scope of care authorized in the state of practice
