Job summary

Essentia Health in Ada, MN seeks a Paramedic capable of responding to emergent and non-emergent calls, providing medical support in pre-hospital and hospital settings. You will assess patients, determine treatments, and perform advanced medical care within state scopes of practice.

A valid Paramedic license with MN/WI considerations is required, plus BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; dual licensure may be needed for cross-state duties. Shift rotation includes Day/Eve/Night.

Qualifications

• State background check clearance to work with vulnerable adults.
• Paramedic licensure in the appropriate state.
• RN licensure as Paramedic where applicable in WI/MN.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls; provides medical support and care in pre-hospital and hospital environments.
• Assesses patients and determines the best course of treatment.
• Provides advanced medical care and basic life support using appropriate equipment and modalities.
• Adheres to scope of care authorized by state of practice.
