Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled EMT-Paramedic to support detainee healthcare operations. You will gather medical histories, perform vital signs, and coordinate care with physicians and nurses in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires BLS certification, current EMT-Paramedic credentials, and a valid Tier 4 security clearance. You must be local to the Nogales area and able to work PRN night shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Must have and maintain current state EMT-Paramedic certification.
• Must have at least one year of experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be local.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls, including taking vital signs and documenting detainee complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts with signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

Pay: $17.69 + $4.93/hr

REQUIREMENTS

• BLS certification required.
• Must have and maintain current state Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic certification
• Must have at least oneyearexperience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be local

TYPE OF WORK

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs. Any medical problems are referred to the Physician, and/or NP/PA.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call to include taking vital signs and documenting detainee’s medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider’s orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

Must be COMFORTABLE with all age groups 0-99.
