Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is looking for a PRN Paramedic to join our Transport EMS team. You will provide advanced life support and direct patient care under medical direction, and you will participate in ambulance transport within the paramedic scope.

The role requires a high school diploma, Kentucky paramedic license, BLS, PALS and ACLS, plus a valid driver's license. You will document care promptly and maintain vehicle readiness for each shift.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA/ARC).
• PALS & ACLS certifications.
• Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support care to ill or injured patients.
• Perform ambulance transportation within paramedic scope.
• Complete all required documentation and patient care reports timely.
• Set priorities for transport of multiple patients and coordinate plans.
• Ensure vehicle readiness, equipment, and ALS gear before and after shifts.
