Haxtun Health Ambulance seeks a Paramedic for PRN, on-call coverage at Haxtun, CO. You will respond to emergency and inter-facility calls, delivering high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients.

This flexible role pays hourly on-call wages and commissions per trip. Applicants must have Colorado EMS Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a valid driver's license; IC 100/700 for NIMS is preferred.

Job Details

Job Location: Hospital Campus - Haxtun, CO 80731, Position Type: PRN, Salary Range: $50.00 - $150.00 Commission, Job Shift: On-Call, ParamedicIf you're looking for flexible, PRN-only work and a meaningful way to support patients in your community, Haxtun Health Ambulance might be the perfect fit. Unlike a typical 9-to-5 position, this role does not have regularly scheduled shifts. Instead, our dedicated responders provide coverage on an as-needed basis.

Application Deadline

Applications are accepted on a regular basis. Here's how it works:Weekday coverage is handled by the first available responders who can answer the call.Weekend coverage is provided by two on-call responders from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. During this time, you'll receive on-call hourly pay. In addition to on-call pay, you'll also earn commission based on a per-trip basis for every call you take.

As a Paramedic, you'll be responsible for providing immediate, high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients. This includes responding to both emergency calls and inter-facility transfers, all while following the guidelines set by the Haxtun Ambulance EMS Protocols and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current valid Driver’s License
• Must possess and maintain current Colorado EMS certification (Paramedic).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Ability to obtain IC 100 & 700 for NIMS compliance
