Job summary

Haxtun Health Ambulance seeks a flexible PRN Ambulance Driver to respond to calls for inter-facility transfers and provide rapid, compassionate care. You will transport patients to medical facilities under Haxtun EMS protocols, delivering high-quality service to the community.

This on-call, as-needed role offers on-call hourly pay with per-trip commissions; weekend coverage is handled by on-call responders from Saturday 6:00 a.m. to Monday 6:00 a.m., with additional pay during that period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to obtain 100 & 700 for NIMS compliance.

If you're looking for flexible, PRN-only work and a meaningful way to support patients in your community, Haxtun Health Ambulance might be the perfect fit. Unlike a typical 9-to-5 position, this role does not have regularly scheduled shifts. Instead, our dedicated responders provide coverage on an as-needed basis.

Here's How It Works

• Weekday coverage is handled by the first available responders who can answer the call.
• Weekend coverage is provided by two on-call responders from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. During this time, you'll receive on-call hourly pay.
• In addition to on-call pay, you'll also earn commission based on a per-trip basis for every call you take.

As an Ambulance Driver you would respond to calls for Inter-facility transfers to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility under the guidelines outlined in the Haxtun Ambulance EMS Protocols.

Qualifications
